How a season works
Same game, clean slate, ten days, and a scoreboard that actually ends.
A brand new character
You roll a seasonal character from scratch. Nothing from your main account comes with it — no gold, no gear, no levels. Everybody starts on the same line, which is the whole point.
Nine ladders plus one
Every mode keeps its own board for the season, and a general ranking sits on top of them all. Chase one board, or spread yourself across every one of them. Mythic Trials and Level count double.

Limited runs
A seasonal character has a capped number of runs per day. You cannot brute-force your way up by playing sixteen hours — which is what keeps it about the build, not the schedule.
Rewards
Every one of the nine ladders — plus the general ranking — pays out to its top 500. Gold goes to your main account, and the very best also earn a skills set ring. The general ranking pays double gold — the ring itself is one ring, same as everywhere else.
The weighted average of your rank on every board, worst one dropped. It pays double gold, and its prize ring is by far the likeliest to come out as a dual-set ring — that is what replaced the second ring it used to grant.

Each of the nine boards pays its own top 500 separately, so a single strong mode is already worth something. A dual-set ring is in reach without winning outright: 20% for the winner, 10% in the top 5, 5% in the top 10.

Every prize ring carries a random boss set. A dual-set ring carries Rebirth on top of that one — two sets on a single ring, and twice the value. The last column is the chance of getting one.
